★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coffee was fine, staff were friendly, nice little outdoor area at the back that's pleasantly sheltered from wind; located next to the toilets but no issues. Cabinet food has a good range but nothing unusual mostly standard cafe food. Reasonable amount of seating inside.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Passing through Kaikoura, stopped for coffee and got this cafe which was situated in the heart of Kaikoura. They offers a good choice of food items. But stuffs was funny. They were not clear what they are offering. Mentioned black tea but giving green tea. Otherwise the place is very clean and presentable and the staff was friendly.

I had sausage roll and ice choco, and my friend had dessert and ice coffee. The sausage roll was yummy and cheap, but the dessert was pretty average. We both liked the drinks, they were so huge!

Poached eggs on toast more like boiled eggs.
Hopefully next time things will be better

Bang in the heart of the Kaikoura City Centre this is a bustling cafe with a huge number of food and beverage options.
Quite a favorite among the locals from what I could gather.
Plenty to choose from and quite good reasonably priced food.
We tried their Fish of the Day and Cappuccino and enjoyed them both. Very friendly service as well.
