★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Camping and picnic spot. Off the highway so plenty of trucks especially to the business at the bottom of the road. The grass area is well kept, provides shade. The dusty ring road is unkempt. A single picnic table sits in the middle of a knee high weed patch. Drop down toilet, tap water. A shallow fast flowing river. Good spot for tents. No fires. Good mobile coverage. Close to Temuka.
