★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The sales guy was SO rude. I went into the store to pick a perfume -- World does have an interesting collection. The sales person briefly showed me four scents, no introduction apart from the name, and literally asked "do you want to buy this" in a pushy way. To be honest I wasn't sure; but his stare made me uneasy, and I said I'll take it. Then he immediately asked "do you want to buy anything else?", already turning away. Um... why do I feel really unwelcomed? Shouldn't he say something like, "oh we also have some nice clothes at the back, do you want to take a look?" I like the brand and its collection, but this is my first time visiting the Britomart store, what a shock. I regret my purchase as soon as I stepped out, and I won't be going back to World again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have a preference for NZ made clothing and jewellery and buy it almost exclusively but I did not make mention of this when browsing, and I was also dressed very casually. (We're talking Asics t-shirt and velour pants here, people!) No judgement was made and I was treated the same as anyone else would have been, I'm sure. Friendly, knowledgeable staff who are passionate about their brand - look out for Heather if you visit this store - you can expect stellar customer service from her. The staff clearly love what they do and are treated well, and believe me it shows.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cheryl and her team are wonderful, great range of men’s fragrances (and ladies too, I’m sure) and she knows all the notes and what have similar undertones that you may like.
The clothing is great, different and vibrant.
You cannot go in here “just for a look” you must be prepared to put your hand in your pocket and spend some money - it’s all well spent lol
Go, look, spend money and make yourself feel great.

The collection of animals is remarkable.
Staff was really friendly and keen to share the experience and fun in the designs. Some really lovely jackets.
