★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I have experienced the best customer service ever at this shop. Oh, and the clothes are very nice too! My husband had very suddenly been made redundant from his job and needed a suit for job interviews. We walked in at YD Riccarton on Friday night and within an hour he was fully kitted out, helped by a very friendly guy named Chaz. Only the jacket had to be ordered in as they didn't have it in my husband's size. On Monday morning my husband was asked to attend a job interview later that day but of course the jacket hadn't arrived yet. He rang the store and explained the issue. A short while later Chaz rang him back and offered to borrow my husband his own jacket ( they were the same size!). My husband went to his job interview looking a million dollars in his borrowed jacket and in our view Chaz should get the Sales Person of All Times Award and a 200% pay rise! Thanks a lot to the amazing staff at this shop!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had the best experience at this shop. We were greeted by Elley, new at yd. She was so amazing. Her knowledge so impressive and everything my son needed to know about what sort of suits are best for certain situations...eg what colours etc send messages about who you are.
She was continually pointing out the best and looking to see what was best. We had fun and came away with the best quality suits, shirts, sox, coat hangers, suit bags and advice we have ever experienced when wanting to be decked out professionally. Thank you Ali...you are the best. Quality at yd great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One Indian female sales assistant was incredibly rude, condescending and sarcastic to my partner and I, while trying to sell us suits. After politely explaining that the kind of suit we wanted wasn’t there she went on to laugh about the cut we wanted and say that it was outdated. The service was completely terrible, heightened with her murmurs and snarky remarks. Wouldn’t recommend shopping there at all

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great clothes, superb range, always pays to keep an eye out for sale items for best value. Typically the clothes will outlast the cheaper chain stores. Would of easily spent considerably more, but Matthew the store clerk was very rude, unwelcoming, belittled other customers complaints whilst we were instore, and then made a comment regarding my pay bracket due to my high AfterPay limit - is that any of his business? We will try the DressMart store next time, this Westfield Riccarton store was the most unprofessional YD store we have ever set foot in. No attempt to upsell, no offer of help or assistance, and then to make personal comments just made me want to ensure I left a review to share my experience. Go elsewhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Firstly on the Saturday we had the best service. We're so impressed we went back Sunday to get the most arrogant self absorbed drugged out sales person. More concerned of himself in the mirror than his customers. We had spent nearly $800 over the weekend there but will never want day Two experience ever again!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I kind of like the style, it feels like my style, but I would start thinking to buy something here only with a 70%+ sale, no less. It is just too expansive for what it offers. I like buying this kind of item sometimes, but I can order better in Italy and spend less.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I always do shop at yd . Today 10/12/21 my experience was so bad with them wen I went to buy suit for my partner the manager of the shop was really rude. He was keep on telling us that the price is high u might not be able to afford. As per we requested him if he can get sizes of the suit from Hornby store and he refused to get from other stores. He told us to check next week if u want anything different. He was keep on telling us that his a shop manager. Soo rude customer service.
