★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Should have take more photos. Very clean and comfortable place. I wish I could have live in here, many books, sofas, antiques. Especially mazing hot shower...! If you like Japan or if you are Japanese, you must visit because this place is like Japanese library itself. All books are nice.
共有リビングに入った瞬間、思わず「うそ！」と叫んでしまいました…日本語の本、写真集、漫画、緑茶、急須、お風呂など…建物の隅々にこだわりを感じる素晴らしいホステルです。

The moment I entered the shared living room, I suddenly shouted "Lie!" ... a Japanese book, a photo book, a manga, green tea, a teapot, a bath, etc ... This is a wonderful hostel where you can feel every detail of the building.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best YHAs I have ever been.
Excellent hospitality. All you need to do is to secure the booking. Then I got pick up from airport, had two days fun at the ski field, and had fed by Keiko's Japanese dinner every night. That was a treasure. Even in Auckland, not so easy to find such good Japanese meals easily. Absolutely value of money.
On top of that, the lounge is full of Japanese books, DVDs collection. I like the kitchen's old school decorations.
It will be my next stay in Springfield for sure.
