P	Paul Brandenburg on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our best meal on the South Island, this place is the real deal. We went both nights we were in Kaikoura. Only slightly more expensive than the pub food places nearby but food that is really delicious and would hold its own in the likes of Auckland, Melbourne, London, etc. Green-lipped mussels are a real treat and local to the region so definitely try those!!

We had the house made breads and dip with polenta fries to start, set the bar preeeeety high. Only to smash the ball outta the park with their roasted bonemarrow garnished steak (I use the work garnish lighty, it was the best part of the dish for me). They rolled my fiance out with their twice cooked pork and brought it home way too strong with a creme brulee and a cheesecake that was sooooo good it turned us on. We've eaten a lot of cheesecake, this is by far the best we've had.
D	Dale Parkes on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful meal. Snapper with lemon butter sauce duck fat roast potatoes and seasonal veges. Plus Steak seasonal vege bone marrow and duck fat potatoes. As you can see forgot to take pics before we ate. Empty plates says it all.
