Went for lunch : Hungarian goulash was tasty albeit quantity was small but cost 17$. Sticky date pudding . Was 14$ . Coffee is not recommended as made by a non barista.
Overall 3.5 for taste 4/5 for value. Definitely try once.
Their dinner menu has better options. Also they have a Chilean and Hungarian chef so menus change regularly and recommended to try at different times

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The menu looks nothing like the photos. Steak is a piece of steak only, not even asked you how cooked you want. All accompanying sides have to be ordered separately. The roasted pork belly is salty, skin not crispy at all.
The whole meal tasted like fast food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My daughter and granddaughter went over to Greytown for Mother's Day and had lunch at the 1860. A lovely experience. I particularly enjoyed the salmon and prawn risotto dishes, but all the dishes were yummy. Excellent, friendly service too. I definitely want to go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Greytown Hotel has hidden gems ???. One is the Chef's Choice degustation; fine food that will delight you, with cleverly chosen wine matches that, together, will invigorate your palate. The other two gems we discovered were Michael and Michael who, together, offered us their outstanding hospitality. It was certainly convivial but, most of all, their passion for food and wine was contagious. Thank you.
