★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The bright purple and white World Scout emblem, just visible through the trees from the main road, drew this American to a very well kept scout hut on Rangitoto. It also drew the attention of an adult scout from Saudi Arabia, who detoured from his Rangitoto trek through the power of this emblem of peace. What an awesome experience to meet a fellow scout from a world away on a world apart. Well done 1st Davenport!
