★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The motel is fine in itself. However it is used by contractors who seem to think it is OK to drink and make noise into the early hours. Management do nothing. Avoid if you want to sleep

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Brand new motel conveniently located close to the city centre. New rooms with very nice bathrooms and kitchen facilities. Fast and free internet access. Comfortable bed and big TV. Very clean.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My 2 friends and I stayed in this relatively new motel in the 3 bedroom suite for 3 nights recently. One of the bedrooms was like an oversized cupboard with no windows, mirror, shelves or even a bedside lamp. Both doors were fire doors and extremely heavy, and needed to be wedged open so as not to be claustrophobic. The beds were comfortable though. The bathroom had no towel rails. There was no guest information booklet, so we could not even work out how to watch the Smart TV, or check out the nearby restaurants. There was no milk left in the fridge, and each day the supplies of coffee and tea were not replenished. The proprietor took us to the Railway station for the TranzAlpine trip but we had difficulty contacting then on our return in the evening. We would not recommend this motel and did not think it worthy of 5 stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place I've stayed in Christchurch room was great met my expectations had no problem changing rooms and the price for the room was a added bonus would highly recommend this place.
The lady in the office was so awesome to speak with, she was welcoming and comfortable to deal with.
Only down side I have to head home apart from that cant fault this place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed in a 1 Bedroom Family Suite on the ground floor. Location is so perfect. Lots of restaurants and cafes just around the corner within walking distance. It's a 15 min walk to Christchurch Train Station if you are catching the Tranzalpine train. Rooms are modern and clean, excellent value for money. 239 On Lincoln Motel is the same as 2 On Whiteleigh Motel
