★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I asked the waitress if there is congee, she said yes, when I went to order, this lady from the kitchen said they don’t have century egg congee which is literally the thing I wanted to get. I then ordered a fish with tofu rice and fu Jian fried rice, both orders were a mess. The fish and tofu rice had crispy pork inside. The fu Jian fried rice instead of chicken, bbq pork and vegetables, it had mussels, fish and random stuff inside. The business seems have changed owners again and gone worse, definitely not going back there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you’re after an amazing roast pork on rice (燒肉飯), I’m afraid you’ve come to the wrong place. Whilst the $13 price is reasonable, you’ll end up spending half the time eating your meal, and the other half pulling out the bones. You’ll need a good pitcher of water too as it comes with some incredibly salty tofu, and if you’re not a fan of bok choy (青江菜) - you’re in luck! You’ll get 16 or so baby beans instead. To be fair, the rice was fresh, and the meat was tender, but the portion received was approximately 4 cups of cooked rice and half a cup of cooked meat. Overall, it was good to try but I wouldn’t recommend visiting again. It’s worth the extra five minutes going to Welfare BBQ Meats/BBQ Noodles Bar just down the road near Denny’s.
