wasted my whole day trying to get a battery changed, a company full of head scratches.. nobody knew their head from their elbow
called the customer service number and I was put on hold for 30mins plus before I gave up....
Battery town sorted the whole thing in a 10 min phone call.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Will not honor warranty on new battery because of no prove of purchase, batteries are clearly date stamped .AA are not to be trusted , the AA brand is being damaged by dodgey actions.

I am a AA plus member and as I am working in an essential service I tried to get my battery replaced as it completely died but they could not be any less helpful. Found a better quality battery elsewhere at a cheaper price so would recommend you shop around before using the AA Battery service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AA wont warranty battery OR EVEN TEST BATTERY because car sat for 2 months before battery went flat had tested and is faulty. Talked to manager Verendra Sing who was less than helpful talked over me. Battery has 18 months of warranty left, not fit for purpose paid over $300 for battery. Within hours of telling AA of there poor google review score multiple positive reviews were listed to lift there score hope they are genuine and not put not just added so they can carry on there poor service, this would be very dishonest. Feed back is placed on a business to improve customer service somehow I think with this company this is not going to happen look how quick these feed backs were listed. Make your own mind up,

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had Dennis from AA battery service assist me at the airport with a flat & dead battery, super friendly guy showed us the test that the battery was dead and gave us our options and ended up buying a new battery, even fitted it all for us! Came out within 15 minutes of the call, when I've come to expect a usual callout time of 60-90 minutes from the AA. Highly recommend to others, a little on the pricey side but the service was A+!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst service ever. Bought an upgraded battery from them for my car and when an interior light was left on the battery went flat. Called the service and explained this. They jumped the car and told me to drive for 20mins and it would be fine. Did so but battery still flat. Took to an AA dealer for an overnight charge. I was told the battery would be fine. Next day battery was flat. Took the car to my mechanic who tested it again and told me the battery was faulty. The battery was only six months old so was under warranty, AA refused to replace the battery as I told them I wanted to drive it to a show and they then deemed it to be a “show car” so not covered under warranty. Two weeks of phone calls, emails to organisers to prove it was not “in” a show and backwards and forwards between callers and finally replaced. I sent in a complaint but have heard nothing back. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE for a new battery, they are more expensive than most and do not help under warranty.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good prompt service by contractor in attendance, battery supplied so far running OK. Service operated in conjunction with 'Club Assist' who appear to do much of the roadside call out work for Motoring clubs across Australasia.
