★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed at this hostel for many months and loved it. Facilities are well-maintained and clean, staff are super approachable and down-to-earth. Cannot beat the central location. Nice social vibe in the shared spaces, and yet quiet at night because it's not a party hostel. Could not have asked for a better hostel experience, and would definitely recommend it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Google Maps has no Rating Option of 7 ?. Otherwise this Hostel deserve much more than 5 star. I do not remember, I had seen such an organised hostel. I wish to come with family again and stay for more than 10 days atleast and enjoy a special discount of 10% on already very economical tarrif of this hostel.
The best of hostel is its Location and view from its Guest Areas. Stunning. Its on the, Lake Esplanade Walkway, location makes it most choiced selection.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ To when our booking was confirmed, the staff communicated to us about check in times and if there was anyone to be around or not. We did come early before check in but were able to leave our bags there while we walked around town to kill time and to check out the views. We were a family of 3, youngest is 11. We had our own shower and toilet. Beds were comfy. Blanket and pillows were provided also towels. There’s a shared kitchen with a view that looks over the lake. Laundry there for you to use. Family lounge with Netflix and an Xbox. Just an outright homely vibe. We definitely would be coming back here to stay. Highly recommend it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have just checked out from three nights stay. We booked a private room with bathroom. Cosy & clean. View was the boardwalk, lake, wharf & mountains - absolutely gorgeous. It’s right in the middle of everything, location is perfect. Super helpful staff. Great housekeeping. If in QT again, staying here without a doubt.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stayed for one night in a double room. It was presented well and tidy. Had everything we needed. Felt very welcomed by the front desk staff. Kitchen and amenities were great. Definitely book this place! Location is great but can be challenging to get all the luggage inside due to the construction. Thanks Absoloot!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great hostel, right in the centre of town. Easy stroll from the bus. Nice sized, clean rooms with good storage (just a extra shelf or table would have been ideal). Kitchen has a cracking view over the lake and good facilities. Staff were really helpful with late checking-in and bag storage while we did the routeburn. We would definitely look to stay again.

Per the kids: it was really nice but there were lots of stairs and the elevator was a teeny bit slow. The bunk beds in the family room was awesome because it had curtains so it was like you had your own small room. The view in the kitchen was phenomenal over the lake and the street performers. The TV room was really comfy. It was an "absoloot" stunner.
Per the adults: comfortable beds and the air conditioning was amazing. Each bed had privacy thanks to the curtains. Great find right in the core of Queenstown. No parking but I reckon that's to be expected in downtown Queenstown. One suggestion: the laundry room hours could be longer and better posted as one sign in our room said it closed at 9 but when to do laundry, it was locked and said it closed at 7. A small criticism. Great work team.
