★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This B+B is incredible! My partner and I stayed one night at Acacia Waters on Wakeman, and it was unreal. All facilities were clean and the super king bed was super comfortable. Dianne and Peter went above and beyond throughout the duration of our stay. Dianne greeted us into their home with a delicious bottle of Pinot Gris and a delectable cheese plater to enjoy on their deck overlooking a 180 degree view of Lake Taupo and the mountains surrounding it! When dinner time came around, my partner and I didn't really know of many places to dine in Taupo, so we seeked Dianne's advise and she promptly called her favorite restaurant and booked us in to most romantic table for two in the cellar at The Brantry. Before heading to dinner we enjoyed a relaxing spa bath in the outdoor area, it seriously couldn't get any better!
When we woke in the morning, Dianne had prepared a two course breakfast, which we enjoyed whilst overlooking Lake Taupo once more.
This B+B is great value for money, and made for a perfect relaxing Labour Weekend away with my partner!
We will be back! Highly recommend!
