★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is an incredible eco friendly & wholesome kiwi experience, Ahaura Lodge features a beautiful farm lifestyle section bristling with unforgettable scenery from a variety of native birds and various geographic history of the land when it was formerly a mining community during the Gold rush.
I highly recommend staying here for a genuine 'home away from home' experience with a genuine kiwi style weekend away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a beautiful place. Robyn and Malcolm are very resourceful people and happy to share all that they know. The home is not just a farm but a history lesson, a premier model of sustainable practices and nature preserve all rolled into one.
Wish we could have stayed longer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely amazing homestay with Robyn & Malcolm. Full on 4wd'ing through a beautiful NZ rainforest through to laid back tours through historic gold mining areas, visits to old mining tunnels etc etc. Highly recommended :-)
