Those are just some words to describe Aiste's services during our trip to Queenstown in September 2020. I was planning a surprise proposal for my girlfriend (now my fiancée) and was looking for a suitable photographer to capture the perfect moments. The plan was to have an alpine landing at one of Queenstown's scenic hillside. Two months before our trip, I was lucky enough to have found Aiste on the internet who turned out to be my secret co-planner. Among other things, she suggested a number of great locations and helped to source for suitable quotes from a local helicopter operator. She took time to understand my requests and executed them perfectly. On the all important day, Aiste turned up as a fellow tourist on our flight. I proposed to my girlfriend when we landed on Cecil Peak and it went according to plan with Aiste's help. The photos are amazing. We did some extra frames at other scenic spots around Queenstown. Aiste even planned us a surprise picnic to celebrate our engagement - much to our delight!
So if you're looking for an awesome local guide and photographer, I highly recommend Aiste!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a 4WD trip to Skippers Canyon with Aiste Photo Tours. Even though I was not a photographer, I truly enjoyed the drive into the canyon, taking in the stunning, color-rich autumn views of Queenstown region. Aiste played a wonderful guide, driver as well as photographer. She stopped by various lookouts for photo opportunities and gave good introduction to the area. She also gave me a 'bonus' drive to Arrowtown & Lake Hayes which are equally beautiful. This tour was the most unforgettable time of my NZ holiday. If anyone is planning to see the best of Queenstown, get in touch with Aiste!

She blended into the background during my home birth and documented my baby’s arrival beautifully and authentically. She’s provided a huge number of images, with many edited in different styles. If you’re looking for home birth photography, I definitely recommend Aiste.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a day trip with Aiste and chose to visit Glenorchy and Paradise. Not only did we do those, but Aiste also showed me some other spots that I would have driven past if I was doing this myself. Her willingness to stop along the way if we saw something was really appreciated. Nothing was too much. It wasn’t just the scenery. Aiste offered pointers on how to take great photos. And for me the added bonus was a brief introduction to Lightroom and editing photos.
Will be looking at doing another tour in the future when I am back down this way.

We hired Aiste to act as a tour guide and photographer for a family trip. We were pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful person, in addition to a great planner and photographer.
When rain impacted our plans, she suggested a trip down to the Southern tip of NZ and then back for a stay in the Dark Sky Preserve. They were great suggestions and she took us to amazing places we never would have found on our own.
I brought my own camera and she showed me the ropes for using filters with waterfalls and how to do astrophotography during the new moon.
We highly recommend Aiste, not only for great service and professionalism...but also as a person to brighten your day as you experience picturesque South Island!

Aiste was incredibly helpful when I first reached out and described what I was looking for, and asked what she thought would be the most suitable package. I ended up purchasing a full day photography tour for my brother and partner, both people who knew their way around a camera and enjoyed photography as a side hobby. Aiste immediately gathered information from me regarding their level of experience, and I left it up to her to plan destinations. They both came back beaming and ecstatic for days following. They took lifelong skills from it (despite thinking they knew a pretty decent amount before going in!), Aiste adapted to this and provided a high level of expertise. She not only showed them great photo spots, but taught them about framing photos, lighting, and editing, all with step by step examples and letting them try their own.
Finally, I must also mention how Aiste so kindly extended the time of their tour and was flexible regarding weather and its impact. She was under no obligation to do this and it did not go unnoticed.
What an amazing experience, and a gift that definitely keeps on giving. I could not recommend Aiste more. Thank you Aiste!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our two days with Aiste were one of the best holiday experiences we've had. Part of our trip was to do product photography with the stunning scenic views of Queenstown as the backdrop. Aiste exceeded all of our expectations! Friendly organised and straight up sweetest person. Our day through Skippers Canyon - a road I'd never attempt to drive myself she took us expertly and safely. She knew all the best spots, made us the most incredible lunch and even popped into a few photos herself as a model!
We will be back to Queenstown again and a day with Aiste will be first on the list. 5 Stars easily :)
