★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spacious camp ground, good flushing toilet as well as the long drops. A place for washing dishes is provided but only two sinks. Next to the river is beautiful and next to the road can get a bit noisy. Tickets are checked daily so make sure to self register on arrival.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed during NY holidays. Was expecting it to be busier. Area was big enough for everyone to spread out. Some big groups 10+ tents had thier own areas what looked like were staying a while. Wasn't too loud or rowdy with students. Check-in was quick and easy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had a quick look at this campground. Looks like a great place to stay for a few days. Probably fairly crowded in the Summer but very beautiful in Autumn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely love the place. Good spot to go to if you want to be close to the river. Bar within walking distance. Well maintained toilets and bins, although do boil the water.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good location but for 10 dollars one would expect sonething more than a single toilet.
If you walk further NE for 10 min you'll find another camping spot that costs less (7nzd) and has 2 toilets.
Tip: swim here, sleep there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large and spacious camping area, bordering the Clutha River. There was plenty of space while we were there in February but can get very busy during peak holidays. Its $10 pp pernight. Long drop and flushing toilets and non drinkable water. Stay clear of the trees when windy. Also mind the potholes on access ways, it keeps people's speeds down so not all bad ??. There's some great cycling trails to choose all within close proximity of the camp.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a larger camping ground. But, not free. It is a holiday camp. At the entrance, there is a platform to pay. U can pay by card. I am not sure if credit cards are accepted. Google will not take you to the exact place. If you are traveling towards Wanaka, then you have to go near the traffic lights. That is where the entrance is. 10$ per person, if adult and this is by 20/Apr/2022. It has got 3 seat toilets ?, and a sink outside. Full network coverage is available. But on a paid camping site, instructions to take the rubbish away, is not fair.
