About Us
Alexander Vineyard is a small family owned and operated estate specialising in the production of truly handcrafted premium wines that combines the outstanding grape-growing climate of New Zealand with a European winemaking heritage to offer ‘the best of both worlds in a glass’.
The owners/winemakers, Michael Finucane and Roz Walker, arrived from the UK in 1996 with both their two young daughters in tow and a desire to make wines of outstanding quality, planting their home vineyard the following year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ En 2012 je crois... Une dégustation très agréable, très longue discussion sur les vins avec le proprio, un souvenir inégalé. Un des moments les plus agréable de notre voyage en Nouvelle-Zélande!
Nous avons rapporté quelques bouteilles au Québec (Tadoussac) et venons de boire le Pinot noir 2013, plaisir gustatif, autant que dans nos souvenirs!

 In 2012 I believe... A very pleasant tasting, very long discussion on the wines with the owner, an unequaled memory. One of the most enjoyable moments of our trip to New Zealand!
We brought a few bottles back to Quebec (Tadoussac) and just drank the Pinot Noir 2013, taste pleasure, as much as we remember!
