★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hmmmm. Started out so well. Wait staff are super pleasant and attentive. Lovely clean surroundings and decor.
Had shrimp cocktail for the first time in decades and really enjoyed it.
Main meal was okay but lacked any real flavour to be honest. Wife found the same with her meal.
And then there's the dessert..... Had to be Tiramisu but boy oh boy, what a disaster. Sponge and cream with a few chocolate sprikles. Absolutely awful. No taste of coffee or masala wine at all. Just very expensive ($12) bland sponge and cream. Very disappointed. We've had Tiramisu in Italy and this was not Tiramisu they served here.
Real shame as reviews are good - maybe an off night?

Great food and drinks menu.
We will definitely be returning as often as we can.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was tasty, but the atmosphere was a bit off as staff kept staring our table down. Every time I seemed to look up someone was staring at the table and giving side eyes while walking past. It wasn’t quick glances making sure everything was okay and that we had drinks but more like passive aggressive stares. It was off putting to say the least.

Service was excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome, tasty, authentic Italian food, simply mouth watering and of a very high quality and decent serving size and prices! Conveinet location on Hobsonville Road, plent free parking. Short drive from North Shore and West. It is getting so popular with locals. No need to go all the way to Ponsonby or Newmarket for traditional Italian food. Come and try it out. Owner operator, harding working family who offers you great services. High class fit out inside and enjoyable ambience on the inside, all seating areas including outside ones are covered by heaters. Best Italian Food in the vicinity. Booking recommended for Dinner. Highly recomended. Give it a try and you will love it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I put the takeaway in the car, the aroma of tomatoes, basil, and garlic floated in the car along the way.
The garlic bread is very chewy, the garlic is well milled, and the aroma is scorched. Margherita pizza base is a special feature, very fragrant, very Q, baking time and temperature are the secrets of a good pizza, but I think they may also have some unique features in the flour and kneading. I like large slices of tomatoes and soft cheese.
I believe that the taste will be better if it is eaten at restaurant. In this difficult time(lockdown), it is really a happy life to be able to eat such delicious pizza and garlic bread. Thanks ?(Sorry maybe my English has some mistakes)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the nicest fettucines I have had in a long time. We visited on a quiet Tuesday evening and were the last table seated. The waitresses were friendly, chatty and fun to talk to which was nice. Prices are reasonable, what you’d expect for a main pasta. The restaurant is quite small; tables are quite close together which may not suit everyone.
