★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Straight trash never eat here, 15 bucks for a burger that had either been overcooked or been sitting there for 10 years before I got it. Chips undercooked and the “medium” drink was smaller than a drink you get in a happy meal. Shameless

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Look I understand with covide you can become understaffed, but I am sure I saw more then one person in the building as I was driving around to the drive thru.
I then sat at the intercom for around 2 to 4 minutes waiting for someone to at least say we will be with you shortly.. but nothing. I eventually said Halo anyone there. To a response yes, would would you like.
I made my order. This took quite a bit of time to come out and the lady then ask me sorry way was your order…? Um there was no one behind me nor in the building orderdering ... She could have surely just check the order on the till. Anyways got my food ( it was one of the special maxac spicy Burger only to have the chicken pattie outer layer be chewy and the chicken inside was dry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got told they had 50 minutes wait time for a 3pc combo. In a fast food drive-thru that is absolutely unacceptable! Decided not to order and the lady said she's telling everybody about wait times, so I asked if she's also asking people to park and clear the queue for all those stuck. Goes off telling me that's not her problem. Muppet of a branch this one. Staff sound like they hate their lives.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Loved the fried chicken, crispy skin and juicy meat, loved the chips too, tasty and soft. Soft drinks however were bad, you could taste all kinds of mixed flavours, probably need an upgrade. The dining area was disgustingly filthy, it desperately needed cleaning. The floor was wet, oily, and filled with litter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Drove 30mins just to get Texas chicken. Tried to order the fire breather burger which was promoting at the drivethru entry, got refused and been told that special was finished and waiting for somebody to take off that flyer.
Chips were cold and the burn on the wrap was gross. One extra star is for the spicy sauce in the wrap?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered half original and half spicy wings online and the order came as whole original wings. I've tried to call a few times but their store seems to have unplugged their phone and won't get through. Tried their online contact us but no response for 3 days, tried Facebook but no reply for 2 days either. It seems like they have shut their doors for any complaints or just don't care about their customers at all. It's a shame to drive 40 minutes to find out they screwed up your order and don't want to correct it. Never going back again. KFC on the other hand are very approachable and when they get orders wrong, they correct it straight away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to this Texas Chicken location today after not having been for some time. The manager on duty (one wearing a grey uniform at the counter? I believe), was very welcoming and provided courteous, quick service - something that I was not used to from my previous visits to this Texas Chicken. (Apologies, I didn't think to look at his name tag, if any, but he was the manager on duty around 2pm today Sat 5 Mar). There was a noticeable positive change in cleanliness and pace of service. Tables and floor were kept clean and free of rubbish (something I noticed the manager took it upon himself to do). Considering we're all going through a tough time with the current covid level and numbers, the kindness and courtesy the on duty manager took time to show customers was very much appreciated (so much so, that I was compelled to write this review). Of course, this being a review for a Texas Chicken joint - in terms of food quality, it's your average fast-food fried chicken - affordable and will fill you up. IMO the honey butter buns were delicious, though don't have too many, otherwise, your waistline will hate you for it.
