★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice receptionist. Budget room is fairly tight. Comfy bed. Soundproofed. Could do with some new paint. Step out of door should have a sign for a step! Pet friendly but no water bowl anywhere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was ok, there was ants behind the oven and a dead cockroach in the kitchen. No sanitary bin in the bathroom and the freezer hadn't been cleaned. Beds very squeaky and uncomfortable

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was good experience staying there. Good budget accommodation and was perfect for the families. The staff was really nice and cooperative. I think what needs to be improved is to have a kitchen with all facilities. I think there must be one or two big communial kitchens if not separate ones. The room was clean and warm. I could see one or two swings for the kids outside and more kids activities needs to be installed. The pool was dirty as I visited in winters. The pool should be kept clean all the times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was not a 3 star motel, while the bed was clean, the window latch’s were broken and unable to be closed which made the room cold, drafty, noise from other room who were loud till 1am.
The room needs a refresh and then could be 3 star

$110 per night fully serviced daily. Bathroom fittings are period pieces. Studio room complete with fridge, electric jug milk coffee & tea. Room decor is simple and fresh.
Comfortable bed and the TV was no Hassel to use plus free wifi.
Very quiet setting. There is a pool but it's Autumn & possibly a bit chilly for me to try
It may not be flash, but value for the money cannot be beaten. 5 -10 mins walk to the center of hastings.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked for 4 people and there was only 3 chairs at the table. Ants on table,stove and bench top. Only had bed to sit on and 1 other soft chair to sit on. Toilet seat had bubbles on it . Even though they told us about step in shower it was higher than we thought and was dangerous for a elderly person and no light close to see that step. Even though no phone in rooms we couldn't ring office after 6pm. Yes I know it was a budget room but we did expect something a bit more reasonable. We would never stay here again.

Motel is old with some unusual alterations. Look for light switches before dark as it was like a treasure hunt finding them. Reception and service was friendly and helpful.
