★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very disappointing birthday dinner for my partner. There were 6 of us including my baby daughter.
The restaurant was busy and it took awhile for our food to arrive so I completely understand that.
Firsty drinks order was taken and we ordered 2 kids meals as they had decided.
Drinks arrived and we placed orders for the adults. There was no record of the kids meals being ordered so we ordered these again.
My father in law ordered the ribs and the waitress asked how he would like them cooked. She obviously had no idea of the menu and that ribs are pork not beef.
We ordered garlic bread. This never arrived at all and wasn't even on the bill at the end of the night.
All of our adult meals arrived but no kids meals. We were told they are on the way. 10 mins later I had to ask the waitress that we are still waiting for 2 meals.
The chicken snitzel was ordered. This arrived and had gravy instead of mushroom sauce.
The seafood meal was ordered. This arrived without any potato croquettes. The price of this meal was just under $40. The waitress said they would put them through as a side. 30 mins later we had finished our meals and we're leaving. Still no sign of any potato croquettes.
Seemed there was no communication between the waitress and the kitchen or the chef had no idea of the menu.
Very disappointing as these meals were not cheap. Left with out the kids even ordering the sundaes that were free as we were over it.
Wouldn't recommend and will not be back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was great, service was terrible, waited for half an hour for dessert menu and then I had to ask for it, also for our table to be cleared as well, they weren't busy lots of tables left uncleared, staff standing laughing and fooling round behind the bar. Sadly I won't be back

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Waited over 30mins still no on took even our drink order, other tables that came in after us were getting service, was our daughters birthday as well and we had made a booking . Ended up walking out, have emailed and complained with no reply. Normally Armadillo's is great been to many but this one wow you might want to sort it out and how to reply to customer complaints as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It Was wonderful. As it was when we used to go there when we lived up this way 4yrs ago. We are now back and really enjoyed our meal at Armadillos. Very nice staff, good food .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was good what you'd expect. The service though was a let down. Nice enough waitresses but had no idea what they were doing. Please ask your chef the specials do some homework on the menu you are trying to sell to your customers and even though your wearing a mask a smile and some Happiness gose a long way. And give them a calculator so they learn have to give change without needing to go through 3 different people to work it out.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice brunch destination, with water views and outdoor seating options. Friendly efficient front of house team complement a great kitchen crew whipping up delicious meals. And there's a baby change table in the unisex bathroom! Recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited Armadillos Richmond on Friday. The young girl with long black hair was a absolute pleasure to watch while enjoying some drinks. She is friendly lovely and caring to all customers. It stood out to us and I would like to thank her for making our day. We all need staff like that. It really makes a difference to customers to return to a restaurant or stay away for good. Thank you you make a difference ?
