โ โ โ โ โ A small pharmacy given the amount of drugs they have to dispense. They make up for it by texting you when your prescription is filled. Donโt expect swift service though.

โ โ โ โ โ A rather big pharmacy inside of Auckland Hospital building, and the best place to redeem your prescription. Staff members are knowledgeable, attentive, and quite friendly; especially they often get so busy. The price is quite dear for non-prescription items.

waiting on script which I was told would take 30-45mins....its now 1 and half hours later. WHAT AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE

โ โ โ โ โ After being discharged from a ward at Auckland City Hospital I proceeded to pick up my prescription. Prior to being discharged, I informed the ward staff that due to my current WINZ allowance being reduced by 50% I could not afford a prescription at this stage.
I was assured this would not be a problem. On arrival to the pharmacy the prescription took 30 mins to prepare then I was called to the counter where the staff member couldnโt find my prescription despite it being right in front of her the whole time. She said it would be $30. I informed them I had already spoken to the staff about this. They called the ward & they denied coverage. The pharmacist was frosty to say the least and seemed to make a point of removing the stickers of each product and then put my paperwork through the shredder.
I was able to afford the antibiotics only.
It was a humiliating, disappointing & hurtful experience.
Very grateful for our medical system here in New Zealand however experiencing this kind of treatment is not on. I am afraid for those who cannot speak up fir themselves.
I cannot recommend this pharmacy at all.

โ โ โ โ โ Slowest pharmacy ever for prescriptions! Went in, was told it would be 20 mins and we'd get a text when it was ready. Took an hour!! Very unimpressed
