β β β β β Our doggo loves running up to Ed in the morning for a cuddle :-) Our dog and cat have stayed here many times and doggo was a regular at daycare. Thanks so much for the last three years, we will miss you all very much!

β β β β β My friend and I have both used the kennels and love them. We both have dogs who suffer from separation anxiety and all of our dogs love staying there and come out happy and in very good condition. Definitely use them again.

β β β β β My pup loves coming here 3 days a week for daycare, to get out his energy with playtime and socializing with other pups. He's always super stoked to turn up in the morning, and half the time when I pick him up he tries to run back in to the play areas! That's all the recommendation I need ;)

β β β β β Our 2 girls Lily and Molly love being taken care of like the little princesses they are when they holiday at Auckland Kennel and Cattery. The play sessions with Tilly and Billy and the other small dogs, have improved their social skills around other dogs.
The ladies are super kind and friendly and give hugs to our 2 generously. We know they are safe and well cared for when we are away.Thanks team see you again soon.

β β β β β I can recommend Auckland Kennels as an affordable, fun and friendly place for any dog needing some company and activity while owners are at work or away.
My two mini-schnauzers have been going to doggie daycare at Auckland Kennels for the last 9 years and really love it. In fact, they can't wait to get out of the car in the morning when we drop them off!
The owners Ed and Katy are friendly and caring people who clearly love to be around animals. They took great care of my boy when he was unwell on his last day whilst boarding with them. We were kept informed about how he was doing and when we arrived to collect him, Katy had been caring for him in her home as if he was one of her own kids. You can't ask for better service than that.

β β β β β Wow! The older lady that answers the phone and meets you a reception. Has an extremely bad attitude. Which explains the bad reviews I just read. Emailed and never got a response (itβs been 3days now). Called up and the lady was very rude and aggressive. Thought maybe she having a bad day. Next day turned up like she advise to view the place. No good morning nothing, straight away attitude. Our current daycare is full and we bought a house close to there kennels are so, we clearly want to make our dog a regular. They clearly do not want new people. I understood they were full, but we are looking for a regular place for our dog to attend close to home. She kept mentioning our regulars take priority. I understand but your regulars started somewhere right. And we clearly want our dog to be a regular and had she asked or answered or taken the time to listen not talk over me. I would have told her. Our dog will be attending 3days a week. The young lady who showed us around was VERY VERY lovely, very informative, explained the facilities very well. . But because of that rude older lady I would rather drive all the way to Drury then, place my dog here. The current good reviews are clearly regulars not new clients. Iβm actually shocked with the service. Even the replies to the bad reviews are passive aggressive. I know itβs her replying lol ??

β β β β β I am a regular with my dog βShadowβ at Auckland Kennel & Cattery, after returning home from work to a ripped up leather lounge suite, fluff everywhere! Something had to be done. He was six months at the time and obviously bored.
I was very fortunate Katy & Ed had space at daycare for him, as a friend had recommended them to me.
I can honestly say without hesitation he loves the day stays, socialisation with the other dogs, and the awesome staff.
There has been one occasion AKC has been at full capacity during the holiday season with boarding and day stays, so even us regularβs have had to choose a day when its quiet.
I would suggest if a spot becomes available, to take the opportunity to trial it out, you will become a regular, and your dog will love you for it.
If my dogs happy and content, returning home totally stuffed Iβm GRATEFUL.
