Bought a Grabone voucher that they advertised for $49 which included an eye exam, Frame ($149 range) with single vision lenses and Retinal Photography. When we went there, the eye exam was fine but the frames that they offer with the voucher were actually for KIDS as they were really really tiny. Nowhere in the Grabone voucher terms and conditions, it said that the frames are from the Kids section and that you have to pay an extra $25 for a frame that will fit an adult's eyes.
I have attached a photo of the frames that they offer with the voucher as well with this review.
A total sham that needs to stop !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would like to give a review of less than an one star. This business does not deserve even a lonely star. The worst costumer service I have seen. Having an appointment for an eye test and get new prescription glasses on the 14/05/2022 at 10.45am. I did arrive 10 or 15 minutes earlier knowing that I have to complete a form details or start looking for a glasses frames. But, I was standing in the cold on the road. The shop sign says that the opening hours are 10.00am on Saturdays. When I arrived at at 10.35am, the shop was still closed. At, 10.50 a woman came and entered the premises from a beside pedestrian door with a cup of coffee in her hands. She saw me and did not say anything to me. Another young couple that they were sanding outside and waiting for the shop opened, they left. It was a cold morning in Auckland. After 5 minutes more waiting outside, I made a phone call and I was told to come in for the beside pedestrian door nor for the shop roller door - which continued shut -.
When I entered I was told that some staff were with Covid. So, if that is the reason, come earlier and do not leave the customer waiting outside in the cold and getting behind in the appointment time. When inside, no one of the lenses frames were suitable for my wide face shape ant temples. All look small, like they were only for children. No a good variety to choose for.
So, never again I am going there. And please, do not go. It is so disappointing optical shop. And very bad customer service. Very bad indeed.
