★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a wonderful set of staff. I can not fault them, their helpfulness and professionalism. They went out of their way to accommodate my requests for updates. The work was first class. They didn’t try and rip off a female, unlike another place I went. So ladies go there and if If in doubt get another quote like I did - $2000+ difference because “metal has memory madam and we would have to take the rear end off the car “ Yeah right.........
Thanks so much guys - have put comments on Facebook and you should see how many others have had great service from you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was sent to them for an insurance job to fix the front guard and headlight. From the first time I went in, they didn't even greet me or smile. Poor customer service. They kept telling me that insurance wont accept to replace my headlight and did their best to fail it. The assessor approved it despite their attempts. They call me to bring in my car and I take time off work to do so, only to be told they couldn't do anything that day and would need to bring it in another day. Their attitude with me was patronizing and disrespectful. Very unprofessional service. They called me to pick up my car and the headlight was poorly attached to the bonnet and it was so obvious. They told me to take it as it wasn't their problem and were being very aggressive. I refused to take my car in that condition and the assessor had to threaten them before they ended up doing a proper job. The assessor was shocked they even tried to give me the car with such a poor job! Honestly it looked like a child tried to fit 2 puzzle pieces together that don't match. Overall a very aggressive and unprofessional service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Needed repair work done on our car, insurance covered the work (MAS approved) and August Panel and Spray were fantastic from beginning to end: very prompt reply to our request for a quote, very easy process, and drop off and pick up all as planned. Not usually the case with most service providers in Wellington! Could not have been easier and very happy customer. Would 100% recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My partner and I have had 2 vehicles come through August panel and paint and unfortunately on both occasions we were left disappointed.
This review relates to the most recent work we had carried out on our Ute.
1. They invoiced my partner and I (private work) and the insurance company for work that was never done on both vehicles.
2. They didn't polish the rear door correctly after painting it and I had to go back to have this corrected.
3. They said my car would be ready to pick up on a Friday, I went in on Friday afternoon and Glen told me they were just giving it a wash so I told my ride they could leave and then after waiting half an hour glen says they hadn't actually painted anything yet and I would need to come back the next week.
This cost me money and time having to pay for a taxi home and being without my vehicle for that weekend.
4. I requested a quote for private work, specifically for the front door to be prepped and painted($747.50).
During the quote process glen told me that they would need to remove and reback the monsoon sheild($30) which never happened and they've only painted from the bottom of the window down, leaving out the window surround.
So the whole door wasn't actually painted as requested and it's quite noticable where they've feathered/tapered the paint work at the bottom of the window frame.
•Overall a negative experience at August Panel and Paint with Poor Quality Workmanship, Dishonesty and Bad Communication.
I won't be going back here again and do not recommend them to anyone.
