★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I like Shane, who seems honest and is very reasonable. If there are any peeps here trashing him, is most likely because they tried to lowball him, meaning he then has right to accept or tell you to go away quickly.

I've had the most frustrating, unpleasant and disappointing experience at Auto Central. I purchased a car in February and encountered problems soon after. I tried exercising my rights as a consumer and I was called a "smart c*nt" by their salesman, Shane Singh. He was very rude and unprofessional. A 16k car shouldn't stop working within only a few months of purchasing.
After a lot of back and forth, they finally agreed to get it fixed. However while doing so, they damaged and scratched my passenger window and window trim.
I had to again reach out and tried to schedule a time for a remedy nd had to remind him every week to get back to me because he kept "forgetting" to order the part. I really just felt like they didn't care about their customers and I was being mucked around. They replaced the plastic window trim and now I am left with permanent and VERY visible scratches to on my windows because of sloppy work-. Shane told me explicitly they would not try and fix this issue as it would cost too much - that it was their mechanics' fault. They refuse to rectify it.
Now I have to fix a mistake made by them myself. Awful service by this company and behaviour by their staff. I do NOT recommend Auto Central.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best used car purchase experience ever. Got pretty good deal. Was able to check auction list from Japan of the vehicle I was going to buy. They registered car on Sunday in ~20 minutes and Shane didn't want to let me go with a car, because he wanted to groom already perfect looking car. Most of cars are above 4 auction grade. I didn't feel any pressure and atmosphere was friendly. My wife loved the car. Totally recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure how these guys sell cars. I am genuinely in the market for an E60 M5 and they had one on their yard. I sent an enquiry through Trademe regarding the service history and general condition of a car. The response from some guy called Shane Sing was just unprofessional and rude. Insinuating I was a time waster just because I wasn't phoning or going in there (ahhh I live 700kms away mate...). The guy is an absolute plonker as can also be ascertained from other reviews. If you aren't interested in providing customer service then don't get a job as a car salesman.
