★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buying from out of Auckland during a lockdown, I was naturally worried about buying a vehicle remotely. But the salesman there called Chopper made the whole process a breeze and was attentive to my needs, such as allowing for an AA inspection and Battery health check since it was a hybrid. He was quick with answering my questions and had a couple of minor second hand vehicle imperfections fixed quickly for me. Very happy with the car, would definitely trade again.Thank you Yes Cars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I feel sorry for the guy that dealt with me. My partner and I went to look at 370GT. Staff gave me keys to start the car also. Exterior was good though interior had cracks. Politely asked for a test drive, staff said "Can you make a decision TODAY?" I said I wont guarantee purchasing it. Then he said "We've got someone coming from Wellington today and he's likely to buy it. Can you make a decision today?" I said "No". And He said No to the test drive request. He did not mention whether the supposed potential buyer had put in deposit (He wouldnt have, otherwise why let me start the car) and I really doubt that someone from Wellington will just come to Auckland and buy one just like that. This model is more common and better priced in Canterbury at the time of writing at least.
Now I'm in the process of getting myself a better newer model with a better colour (yet much more expensive).
Had the staff worked on his communication, he would have sold it to me.
The 370GT I was looking at at Yes Car is still on TradeMe so I dont think the supposed buyer bought it..

Went in asking about the pricing and was told that the price on the cars is final and then eventually told to leave when enquiring about a different car

Worst experience ever experienced at a so called "Car Dealership". The old salesperson, Chopper, was no help at all. No greeting, or even a simple "Hi". Chopper offered no assistance and made no effort whatsoever.
Don't even ask for a test drive, when asked to test drive the car, Chopper demanded to know whether I can afford the car and grudgingly handed me the keys when I met all his "criteria'.
The car I was viewing had diminishes everywhere, severe rust on the engine and interior passenger seats (reflecting the price of the cars and the so called, good deal that I am getting), when I questioned about the rust, Chopper shrugged it off saying not to worry about it.
DON'T bother with negotiations. When it came to negotiating, Chopper did not want any of it, after a very one sided heated ordeal, he told me to "Leave, I don't want you here, you're wasting my time" and proceeded to kick me out.
Overall, for the interest of future car buyers, do not go to Yes Cars. The good deals on the cars reflect the conditions of the cars, if it is too good to be true, something is wrong.
