★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was quite disappointed about the service today. Got Beef noodle for takeaway but all the soup was spilled on the way back to home (only 2 mins drive) it could of been that lid wasn't properly on. It was such a mess everywhere in my car & my hands even noodle was ruined by soup so had to chuck everything into bin when I got home and called them they we're happy to make food again which took 10mins but she is not giving me the new noodle as it had no problem. Even I kept the soaky noodle It won't be as fresh! I won't be visiting here again as I end up just having soup only without noodle for my dinner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First thing comes to my mind is that it is spacious & comfortable than the first branch that is on takapuna. Friendly staff & undoubtedly massive menu.
Food is great! Basu make killer veg dumplings. A must try place.
Parking could be a challenge sometimes. Bus stop nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hands down favourite dumplings in the whole wide world has to be the pork and chive in spicy sauce. Their ‘hot’ is not to be underestimated, but even though it burns a little for me it’s well worth it.
Dan dan noodles a nice accompaniment to the dumplings but not a must. Portion sizes are huge so always go for the Small if in doubt.
Fell in love with the original Basu Lounge in Takapuna but I really rate their Browns Bay location more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We are regular customers and our orders are always consistent and generous for the price. Service is with a smile and cost very reasonable. The dumplings are huge and very tasty! The noodles are wonderful. Haven't tried the rice yet because we love the noodles and dumplings so much. The broth is very tasty. Highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Serves delicious food with quick service however the prices have gone up a lot past the few years and portion sizes have been decreasing. Not surprising though since many places have been following this trend too. Their noodles are very good.

The food is great, but apart from that, everything else is below than expected. Spice is recklessly added so ensure that you always pick mild
Customer service is miserable, seating is meh and feels crammed, and the hand sanitiser is always empty which places lives at risk right in the middle of a global COVID pandemic.
UPDATE: Better service this time and hand sanitiser is STILL empty.
UPDATE: Customer service is on point and COVID measures are in place!
