β β β β β kitchen and bathroom facilities were very clean. grounds well groomed and maintained. short walk to the beach. lovely community. friendly owners made u feel very welcome. trampoline, swing etc for kids to play on. I felt the only thing that let this wonderful facility down was the water pressure in the showers. but I guess its like that so it encourages short showers. water temperature was fine. would go again and recommend to others.

β β β β β Such a beautiful Gem, last time I stayed here was 2007 with my aunty n uncle and family who are regulars here xo definitely will be a new regular for me n hubby, was there for Waitangi weekend and will be back again. Every where is neat and tidy, our cabins were so comfortable xo our family were next door to each other with great parking space and dining area to eat outside.

β β β β β Baylys Beach Holiday Park was my first time experience camping by myself with my partner, we were expecting there to be mediocre facilities, and average grounds. However completely to my surprise the facilities were extremely well maintained, clean and of high standard, having plenty spaces to cook, and easy camp grounds, budget cabins and nicer roomer family cabins. This camp ground would happily suit the common backpacker to someone wanting a more relaxing visit to the local area. The initial service was very friendly and approachable tending to the needs of visitors and people remained civilized on the camp ground. You have attractions around the area of beautiful views, Baylys beach of which you can drive and fish on, supermarkets and foods places in Dargaville, and walking tracks around the area. The drive to Dargaville to the accommodation is a a bit longer (13km, 13 minutes) than I would like but is a pleasant drive and would only say this if I had to pick something to complain about. Me and my partner went for a road trip all the way up to see Omapere and Opononi Via visiting the mighty Tane Mahuta and other walking tracks. We saw the epic view of the Hokianga. There is a abundance of places you can see with the minimal required effort. One of the coolest places I went to was the Kai Iwi a fresh water lake that is super chill and deep and amazing on the hotest days. Overall it was a great experience and recommend all of the different accommodation provided by Baylys Beach Holiday Park. I hope to visit again and go see, tramp, and swim in the places I missed.

β β β β β Facilities are clean. Campsite was big enough to fit 4 adults with 2 cars. Was a convenient location for us as we wanted to drive onto the beach. Can hear the ocean nearby.
Our campsite neighbours were quite rude though, they kept insisting we were parking on the road and on the wrong site when we weren't, eventually had to go back to the owner to sort out after which the neighbours realised they were actually on the wrong site...

The owners were kind and friendly and made us feel very welcome.
Great facilities and a beautiful beach!
I recommend checking out the dargaville op shops while you are there.

β β β β β Very basic accommodation but comes at a great rate. Dargaville is not far away for a dinner out if you dont feel like cooking. The beach is amazing and offers wonderful views and sunset experience to die for

β β β β β A wonderful place to stay. Child and dog friendly and facilities are clean and tidy. We stayed in a cabin and it was perfect for our little family and dog. A short walk to the beach and plenty of pathways to explore. We will be back for sure.

β β β β β Spent the Easter weekend here and wow what a lovely experience. Friendly owners, who are very accomodating. Beautiful, clean cabin, with such a relaxed camp vibe. Dog friendly and only a minute from the beach which is accessible to all cars and simply gorgeous. We will definitely be back.
