β β β β β A prison is nicer. Wouldn't recommend this unless you like booze and having no job. Moat people living here must be at the lower end of society. The cabins were disgusting and punch holes in the wall the sheets had blood in them. There was not hot water in the showers when we were there. My friend she wouldn't go out on here own. She had some drunk guy tell her some pretty disgusting remarks. The management didn't care. I would not recommend this place. Avoid.

β β β β β Nice little motor camp with caravan parking and a few motel units. Good common area to hang out in. Motel units clean and well cared for with lovely family managing the site. great views to the southern ocean. Riverton is a lovely seaside town with great cafes local butcher with a real country town feel

β β β β β Arty and his boys maintain a true Southland attitude warm and caring alongside a lovely well kept campground with plenty to keep everyone happy native walks, bike tracks, river and beach all in walking or biking distance. There are a few friendly locals nearby too.

β β β β β I live here permanently, very quiet, lots of birdsong and awesome people. They also have spaces for tourists in vans and wee self contained units

β β β β β What a lovely place. We arrived after office hours and they left keys for the room at reception for us. We didn't paid upfront. Had a 6 bed dorm for ourself and the owner gave us a super price. Very friendly. Clean amenities, kitchen is well equipped. Bathroom spotless. Sinks are tiny but it's okay. Very laid back environment. Highly recommended.

β β β β β We stayed here for a night in early August in our caravan. The camp is dog friendly. The bathroom area was very clean, with good showers. Also a good kitchen with lots of equipment and also very clean. Very friendly permanent residents living here - they will stop for a chat. A nice tidy camp. Recommended.
