★ ★ ★ ★ ★ By far the worst experience I have ever had on a motel!! We arrived and the bath was filthy!! Got the owner to come clean it witch he done with a flannel and no cleaning products attempt to have a shower and the drain was blocked so had to get him back once again he plunged it and didn't bother cleaning it properly. The unit was huge and had great potential but was extremely run down and filthy! Food left in cupboards from the previous guests springs sticking out of the bed and chair, couldn't use the electric blanket as the wires were stripped. The steps to our unit where completely unsafe as they were slippery and covered in mould and leaves. Our unit was right by the road and had no sound proofing. We were given a discount but he then canceled the booking to through booking.com so we are unable to leave a review

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not take my word that this place is cozy warm and reasonably priced for today. A Great place to visit. Paris Kaiapoi. A little over the top but still cheaper than leaving the country and is better than The Lone Star Stake Grill Texas Stake House.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As always another excellent stay at my favorite Christchurch motor Inn. The rooms are spaciously set out and always immaculate. The grounds very tidy. The staff are always friendly, and the prices are hard to beat. Central to the city 10/10

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked one bedroom king suite for $122.40. Easy & fast check in. Staff on reception was helpful. Room was spacious, clean and homey. Fully equipped kitchen. Good sized bathroom. Comfy bed. Generally a good motel.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The photos online are not what our room was like. The room was very dated, broken bathroom tiles, tv was very fuzzy, walls and doors paint peeling, bedroom door handle broken.
The owners were friendly enough tho and the washing machine was free.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Mother stayed there for a few days recently. The only thing noticed was mildew and moss on the outside balconies and stairs. Just need a water blast and possibly and coat of non slip paint. She said she enjoyed her stay and would come back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rooms were ok but the toilet had not been cleaned. Spa bath had not been cleaned out, dirty gunk came out of the jets when turned on. Management does not record license plate numbers of cars so when we had to leave early and had a car completely blocking our way, it took a while to to find the owner. We got a discount which was appreciated but not sure if we'd trust the place again.
