m	mAtt RINGOT on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Derek was Awesome ! His boat is incredible, with top quality gears ! We loved our trip and learned plenty of tips for our boat fishing in Wellington! Caught a Kingy, snapper and had fun with heaps of kahawaii on lures. Derek even filleted the snapper and gave us the address to the best fish and chips in town ! We will definitely come back ! Thanks again for everything!

He took us to some beautiful fishing spots but also went out of his way to show us amazing sights. I would absolutely go on this charter again for all our holidays for years to come. Thanks for everything Derek! We had a fishing trip we’ll never forget. Hope we catch that Marlin w ya next time!!!

Throughout our excursion, he made us feel welcome/comfortable and made sure that we had the best time possible. He is well organised and runs a very efficient and fun operation. We caught lots of snapper and even a kingfish, due to his knowledgable guidance. We cannot recommend him enough as he was also very great chat. Would 100% come back again.

I bought the charter trip as a Christmas gift and everything from the comms with Janine in advance to the experience on the day was excellent. I didn't go on the trip but the crew that did were absolutely delighted with their day. Captain Derek was very informative, knows the spots and was very easy for everyone to spend the day with. Catching a couple of kingfish the icing on the cake. Highly recommended and extremely grateful to the Big Fish team for being part of a great start to 2022.
