We found the sushi to be particularly dry and a bit less flavorful when compared to other similar spots, but overall it was a good lunch with a large selection of pieces and savories. It’s also the only sushi parlor in mangawhai so if you don’t like it, tough luck!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t eat sushi but because it was only eatery open that day in Mangawhai, I decided to give it a go. I took typical maki sushi (fresh made?) and they taste very average. Not too sure if they were fresh thought (specially tuna and salmon were quite warm not chilled enough and rice tastes odd) and after I ate, wasn’t feeling well.
Its is just a little, nice place in the village,so the owners should make an effort and create fresh food, especially when serving a raw fish!!
