Soap comes out in the middle of rinse.
Not very good xperience .overdue for maintenance..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Coin machines don't work properly - machine ate $2 without giving me any time, and used another $2 worth of time trying to get the machine to accept more coins while the timer counted down. Hose kept spraying soap in the middle of a rinse cycle meaning I had to start over. Don't bother!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I visited Washtech 2 weeks ago, and I will definitely be going back any time my car needs a wash! Since it was my 1st time there, I chose to have the staff wash my car rather than do it myself, so I could learn all the different tools and steps. Lydia washed my car and showed me how to use the pre-soak, and I then asked if I could jump in, and the 2 of us had a great time chatting while we washed the car (note: I wanted to give it a go, but you don't need to do a thing if you choose to have the staff wash your car).
Lydia was needed elsewhere, so Dean took over and showed me the other steps. He was just as friendly as Lydia, and after a few mins Jayden came over to help (much appreciated as I have a big SUV that was super dirty with lots of pollen stuck all over!) They finished the job quickly and professionally, and I had a great time chatting with them as well.
Washtech's pricing is the most reasonable out of all the places I called in Taupo, and my car was immediately attended to as soon as I arrived (some of the other businesses had a 2-week wait before getting an appointment). I was very pleased with the process from start to end. I left Washtech in a good mood, despite having arrived there quite miserable as I had just dented my car in town. The team was awesome, the services they provided were awesome, and the price was awesome--highly recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't appreciate putting $4 into the middle wash machine to them read the sign miles up high where us short people couldn't see it. To say that this wash bay is on a prepay system and pay inside when it was closed so got ripped off $4

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 2 Bays were closed so a man directed us to the 3rd bay which was covered with dirt, mud and gravel. We proceeded to power wash our car only to find out the soap dispenser was not working. When asked about it, he said ‘we’re working on it.’ He should have told us it was not working before we wasted $10.00. Cleaning up the bay would’ve been smart customer service as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Two out of three machines not in service. Our brand new car is now completely covered in scratches and requires a full cut and polish to remove them. Definitely don’t go if you like your paintwork. The service guy was lovely, just not the equipment. No shimmy clothes either so there are watermarks all over the car which defeats the purpose of washing the car in the first place. Would not recommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The last times I tried to wash my van here, the self car wash cycle doesn't work properly. One minute the soap hardly works, then when you rinse the soap comes out. It would be great if it was all fixed!
