BUT thank goodness a person can still rely on bluestar
On time clean cabs and drivers are very polite well dressed

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Were a no show for a pre-booked trip for my daughter from her school to a course. No answer when tried to call to find out what was happening. Her dad had to leave work to take her making him have a terrible morning and her late for her final assessment. Oh and it was raining. Way to compete with Uber.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rang to find a lost item. They're useless and so unhelpful. They don't even have a lost and found apparently. Yea right! That's probably because they keep everything they find.
I left something in a taxi and was able to track it. They said everything gets handed into the police station but guess what? It still hasn't been handed into the police station so where is it?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Left my umbrella in taxi on Saturday night rang as soon as I got in the door at home, was told all property left in their taxis was taken to the police station. It would have been so easy for them to have rung the driver and told them before the next ride maybe found it and stole it. I can not be bothered going to the police station, writing out a lost report in case it is not even there, I live in Kaikoura, ride was in ChCH, will use Uber next time. the ride to King of Snake was $11 home with Blue Star $22, not that I minded that much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a blue star taxi on Friday for 615 am Monday, I've got surgery a the hospital. The driver arrived on time, didn't ring or knock on the door. In the time it took me to put my shoes on & lock the house - the taxi was gone

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Canceled taxi after a 52 minute wait and a few phone calls. Company picked up another client who had requested a taxi over 15 minutes after us, which call center also acknowledged (not by mistake, we checked with the driver of this taxi as we thought perhaps it may have been) Can't help but question whether the reason for this is that the person I was traveling with holds a total mobility card which this company were aware of as we had taken a taxi earlier that day.
When calling the call center back the first time to check that a taxi was still coming, call center operator was not only rude but after I thanked him simply hung up on me.
Absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!!! ????
