He did exactly the opposite of what I requested him to do. He did not listen to me at all. He said "Hey mate I have 30+ years of experience. I know what suits you".
Next day after the hair cut, I went to work. At least 10 people laughed at me. At least 5 people did not even recognise me!
It was humiliating. It has been one and half months since I did my hair cut now. Still my hair is short and uneven.
He charged me $25 saying that he is giving me a discount as the usual price is $30 as he has 30+ years of experience in his field.
A good barber always listens to his client's needs. He was friendly indeed but not a good listener at all.
I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Legendary mullet round these parts too. Go see him!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I only discovered Bob the Barber a few years ago, but he's a Birkenhead/Beach Haven institution for decades already. For a reason! - Not a fancy shop, but top quality jobs for an affordable price. Even our 5 year old does not want any one else cut his hair! :-) - Keep it up, Bob!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you want to get a great service from a man who has spent all his life around barber art and barbershops you should definitely visit Bob The Barber. The place is not super fancy, but Bob's experience is over 30 years, he has a firm grip and gentle touch.Thia is by far the best barber in Auckland. Highly recommended.
