★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic spot, especially if you're there for Hobbiton as it's only 2k away. The owners were away, but they had a caretaker who was jolly and accomodating as he dropped us off at Hobbiton for Beerfest. $2 hot showers for 5 minutes or a free cold shower with a view , 2 (clean) toilets, a place to charge your phones, lush grass to set up your tent, and wake up to the sound of chickens clucking outside. A lovely country camping experience, highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice place to stay for a night with a campervan. The sunset and sunrisevon the shire like landscapes are worth 5 stars already. The ground is pretty flat, the facilities very well maintained although we had a problem with the shower that swallowed our money but never gave us hot water. It was too late in the evening to disturb the owners so we paid for nothing but our night there remains a really good memory. Plus, it's a 3 min drive from Hobbiton so pretty convenient!

2 toilets and one shower ($2for hot eater) which is very very clean.
Quite and nice view, a good place to stay for visitors from Habitton.
But check in only accepted AFTER 4 pm, so you should take into account your timing of Hobitton tour.
And check out must be made 10 am next day, my interpretation is that you probably can't stay in the campsite between 10 to 4.
But I only stay one night,so I didn't really confirm it. Those who want to stay longer might need to check with the host.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ $8 per person, cash only. Beautiful place, where to set up your tent. Grass was nicely soft for sleeping in tent. Possible to wash dishes too. Clean toilets, warm shower for $2. In "chill room" you can also charge your phone. Good spot where to enjoy sunset and sunrise.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to stay. Breathtaking views, spotless facilities and the hosts were very friendly and helpful when we had a small mechanical problem to sort. I recommend this site to anyone looking for an overnight stay just down the road from Hobbiton.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We camped here one night and got a super unlucky experience. I left my key in the trunk. The owner came and helped us the whole time we were there. Everyone is super nice and friendly, really helpful. We can’t express how much we love this place and want to come back ❤️.
The morning view is something you don’t want to miss.
Shower is clean, very cheap $2 for a hot shower. The sinks are available for cooking and cleaning. Also there is power.
The best thing here is traveling to Hobbiton is so closed.
