Service was nice too...friendly and courteous.
Cafe needed to be more hobbitonised. Would be 100% if it had the same charm as the Green Dragon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For all hobbit fans a 10 out of 10, awesome end to a great tour of hobbiton. Even those non hobbit fans enjoyed the shire's rest. An ale by the fire is a must on a cold day. Wonderful staff that answered any questions.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice coffee, had the mince & cheese pie and it was excellent. Fish & chips $19 and the chef use snapper, totally unexpected for a puny price I would get snapper, big thumb up. The price and quality were more than reasonable for a tourist spot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff here are excellent, the service was great. The prices are very reasonable and I found the pizza at $12 to be great value for the size and the amount of toppings.
The fish and chips, although they looked good, the chips were great but the fish was strange, couldn't quite make it what type it was and tasted a bit weird. Next time we'd probably stick with a bowl of chips and something else.
Still they had good options, something for everyone, from vegan and peskitarians to meat lovers. Only the fish fillet let miss a 5 star

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Expected it to be painfully expensive here being in a tourist location but turned out to be reasonably priced with good quality food and really quick service. I had a salmon roll from the cabinet which was nice, others at the table also had one of the rather good value Toasted sandwiches with lots of chicken and Pesto. The Eggs Benedict also looked great and was on special that day making it an actual bargain as well as being good. The one minor disappointment was the chicken and cranberry pie which lacked many cranberries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The pies were delicious. Full of good quality ingredient and very tasty. There was an error with an incorrect label and staff kindly and happily, without fuss made a swap for me. The cafe was clean, well presented and had an excellent, reasonably priced selection..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Surprising cheap! In a good way. $10 glasses of wine, delicious cabinet food, also priced fairly. Quite rare for a tourist attraction to have such fair prices. Lovely places to sit outside and look out over the rolling hills. Beautiful
