Bush walk along a well formed track with steps. It is in an area where Oi ( storm petrels) nest in burrows. Views out over the beach in places.

Pretty little walk. 15 minutes down to the beach and about 20 back up to the road. Nice lookout halfway. Really enjoyed it and the beach below!

Beautiful seaside views. Not the longest bush walk but well worth the walk. There is a pathway leading to the beach for a shore access.

We took the walk down to the beach which was lovely. After going for a swim, walking back up felt a lot longer and not quite as enjoyable ? but still nice. My post partum friend had to stop a lot for breaks.

The entrance to the walkway looks to be a residential area so there wasn't that many parking spaces. It does have a nice view that looks out to the sea. The first bit is down quite a bit of staris to the track. We only went towards Ngarunui beach but it did look like the track kept going the other way. The first stop was the lookout. It was quite nice and had a nice view of the sea. Continuing down the path led to the beach. We had a quick stroll to the lifeguard tower before heading back when it started to spit. There were still quite a lot of people in the water even on the overcast day. It was a leisurely 15 minute walk down to the beach and about the same coming back up. The entrance from the beach is easy to miss as it is on top of some dunes. I only knew it was there because we had come from there. It was quite a nice track through the bush.
