About Us
We created Wildcoast in 1999 with the vision to provide a place for people to rest and rejuvenate. A place to feel energised and get back in touch with nature. So the eco cabins and horse adventures began!
We are and always have been very passionate about our animals. Wildcoast began as a way to share our love of horses and our beautiful scenery with others.
Our environmental impact has a great effect on how we run our business. We put the trees, the birds, the fresh water that runs through our farm and the mountain that surrounds us at the forefront. We have fenced off a quater of our 120 acre block and have returned it to bush. We also have planted hundreds of trees to help with the regeneration. We believe people can make a difference. We are all about sustainable tourism and farming and hope that when people stay they get a chance to be aware of the environment around them and experience living off the grid even for a short time.

I’ve been riding all my life and have done many horse trails, this is by far the best ride i’ve been on. The staff is kind, friendly and patient. They make sure you have a safe and enjoyable ride.
The horses are also amazing and my partner and I were given horses that matched our riding levels.
The landscapes are breathtaking. We had Ruapuke beach all to ourselves and brought back pictures that we will be looking at for a long time.
Just amazing ! Thank you again for the amazing ride !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an amazing day, so much fun my mum and I had such an amazing time here, the people were so friendly and welcoming and it's a lovely family run place and you could clearly see how much they love and care for their beautiful horses. The Scenery was stunning from the bush walk and waterfalls to the amazing view from high up on the hill before you walk down to the water. If you Want an amazing day out that you will not forget I highly recommend this place!!!
