โ โ โ โ โ I have purchased an item from Bunnings that required the me to rely on the experience of the staff to give me the correct size screw to go with the product and to be able to screw it into my window pane.
My window pane crack with size of the screw that the staff have advised me to use.
I then had to pay $140 to replace the window.
I went back to Bunnings to discuss the incident and left my phone number for a manager to ring me about the incident.
No one from Bunnings has bothered to call me.
I have spent thousands of dollars at Bunnings with the renovations on my home.
This is a poor representation of the integrity of the Bunnings Company. Shame on you Bunnings

โ โ โ โ โ Went into the South Dunedin Store on Monday for the very first time wanting to buy outside furniture for my cafe. There was no one there to help me. I asked to speak to the Store Manager who was called to come and assist me as I was wanting to purchase a bulk amount. After waiting for him or her to come I ended up leaving. They obviously didn't want my sale. I have sent 2 emails now wanting a reply to why I didn't get any service, Still no reply. Not expressed. I won't be back and would not recommend this store to any one else

โ โ โ โ โ Burswood Bunnings has some very rude staff, who have forgotten that part of their job requires them to speak to customers and offer assistance when they need help choosing products. Dismissive, abrupt, impolite and completely unhelpful. Winston and his offsider need to understand their role. The manager, does not take complaints seriously and fobs people off. Very poor, we wont be going there again and we are telling everyone else the same. Pity though, tradies and business owners in the family.

โ โ โ โ โ Bunnings Mt Maunganui was extremely upsetting on the weekend for us. Firstly a lady on the counter knocked my plants and ceramic pots over and pushed the table out in front of us to get out to scan products. She then overcharged us $52 for a hose we never bought. The guy walked out and never paid for it in front of us. We then went to the service counter and my partner politely explained what had happened and the young girl was extremely rude and didn't believe us. I know there was a lot of stress due to covid 19 but the way she spoke was unacceptable. Then the older man came over and stuck up for her and told us to leave without a refund and we said what about the refund. In the end my partner walked out very upset and the older man walked my trolley out and wouldn't let me take it after asking three times. I did get my money back but I can't set foot in that shop again as it goes against everything I stand for.

โ โ โ โ โ I have just been to the Bunnings store in Petone.
I approached a assistant asking where the kitchen taps were.
Her answer was over there on the shelves.
Customer service What's that.
I looked for 30mins and she didn't even offer helping me.
Extremely poor Service.
Too busy chatting to the. Other staff to notice I needed help.
Unfortunately their service has got worse.
It's not the last time I have encountered this.
Wake up Bunnings Petone

โ โ โ โ โ So I went into Bunnings Rotorua as a support person for of my two daughters who work there and I asked to see the manager as they had failed to pay my daughter the government subsidy because she contracted COVID-19. As Iโm waiting for her to come to the front desk after being pages I can see she is avoiding meeting with me so I approach Sally the manager and I am immediately dismissed she refuses to acknowledge my concerns and raises her hand to me and say she will not be dealing with the situation. Iโm not sure what kind of management style
She is using but it is definitely not the type of management that appreciate staff who have been frontline workers through the pandemic and not a management style that ensures that staff feel safe
speaking to about their concerns. Very dismissive culture from management and a toxic work environment

โ โ โ โ โ Bunnings Sustainability Goals posted on their webpages are admirable but they are only words.
Bunnings seem to pay little attention to the products they source. and sell.
In New Zealand, a country with over 85 % electricity generation from renewables, heat pump technology, solar hot water, photovoltaic and significant access to domestic timber for heating, Bunnings still sells Lignite Coal Briquettes for domestic heating.
According to the packaging this Coal is transported half around the world from Germany.
The carbon footprint of this form of heating couldn't be any worse.
