★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is what it says, the support center for Bunnings NZ. All admin, training rooms conference room. Think of it as the beehive of Bunnings. Not alot to see unless you work for the company. Not a shop!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Couldn't get a reply when calling Bunnings, called the nation support office and asked if a particular branch had a type of paint i was looking for, they said they couldn't tell me. When i asked what sort of support they offered they said Quote "I DON'T REALLY KNOW" lol they did offer to try the phone line for me again lol they got the same result i got......NO REPLY. hmm thanks for the laugh but seriously???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently visited the Manukau Bunnings Store on 29/12/18 and was very unimpressed with the service, the demeanor, and general tardiness of the staff. Several staff members were more interested in talking on their mobile phones than serving the waiting customers ( especially in the paint dept.) None of the staff I spoke to even bothered to smile and appeared to have a complete lack of friendliness towards members of the public, who after-all, pay their wages. At the checkouts, there were only two operators working, even though the store was busy and even then, we were greeted with a sour look and abruptness.
Personally, I feel the management needs a good kick up the backside and the staff needs some serious teaching in public relations.
I will not be shopping at that store again, ever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought 28 Paver Classic Stone (450X450x40) this morning ( 07/01/20 ) at Bunnings Warehouse Ti Rakau.
I requested for assistance as they are really very heavy and the Supervisor said no one can help us in loading the stones. We eventually did it our own.
Very bad service. You should hire more guys in your store or do not sell heavy stuff anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I popped into my local Bunnings and special ordered a shed, making a $500 deposit to secure the shipment...remainder to be paid on pickup. NO Shed after 14 days (after being told 6-12 days for it to arrive). Apparently Bunnings are unable to contact their suppliers...very poor as I need the shed rather urgently (they were made aware of this). Staff are nice but no good if they do not have the shed. Unhappy is an understatement :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today I went to the Wairau Park store to purchase a spray can of Polyurethene. As it was in a locked cupboard I had to wait for service. The paint area had one staff member, she said she was new, and as she was dealing with a customer I was prepared to wait a while? After 11 minutes I asked if she could call for assistance where the reply was the other person was on a break. after another 5 minutes she made a phone call where help arrived a further 8 minutes later. A total of 24 minutes to get served.
I paid at the counter and asked to see a Manager. It took another 10 minutes for the Manager to arrive, in all very very poor service.
This Bunnings Store is renouned for insufficient staff, untrained staff, staff with little to no technical knowledge and Management who do not seem to care!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty helpful, can be a bit slow - overall they do their best. However, the Bunnings business model needs some work - it's annoying to have to keep changing stores to find stock online.... why not have a central inventory website that can dispatch stock from wherever it is located?
