Our teams can head out and visit a community group, or welcome a community group into the D.I.Y. area for a workshop.
Workshops are tailored for the needs of each community group and can include gardening, craft, woodwork, water and energy saving activities, as well as kids activities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love shopping at Bunnings in Silverdale but somehow this branch is lacking in soul. It just seems so blah. With competition in Mitre 10 right next door one would think they would up their game. However both stores suffer from the same inertia.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bunnings in my experience always have had well stocked stores. In recent times due to national shortages many products have been unavailable. The staff in this store does try to help. Unfortunatly there are staff giving advice, when in fact they have no idea what they are talking about. I certainly recommend visiting this store but be very wary about the advice you are being given by the staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Today, 04:03:2022 at 6:30PM we experienced another exasperating and unhelpful cashier at the Tools Section. The first encounter with her was at the Trade section several months ago.
I am surprised why Bunnings assigns frontline personnel that seemingly have very little people skills at all.
In a lighter note and on the same day, a very kind and helpful young man assisted us well in the tool section. He clearly answered and explained thoroughly questions we had. Highly commendable.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If the neighbouring hardware store does not have what I'm after, off I trot to Bunnings. It is well-stocked and I find the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Returning items with receipt is an easy process. The self-service checkout is a breeze. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to both the Bunnings and the Mitre 10 on this block and Bunnings far excess M10 by a country mile. Helpful staff. Friendly service and cut our long plank free of charge so it would fit in the car. I love coming here

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Took my new puppy and my daughter in today. What a pleasure. The staff were so helpful - observant, aware and offering help. Quick to respond. My daughter made an awesome snakes and ladders game at the DIY workshop whilst I shopped. Relaxing. Puppy had the best ride!

Steven in particular got a small dome unstuck from the leg of a massage table, which is essential for it’s safe use. His colleagues were also very supportive in helping him. I came in worried, and have left feeling relieved and grateful - Thank you!
