Our teams can head out and visit a community group, or welcome a community group into the D.I.Y. area for a workshop.
Workshops are tailored for the needs of each community group and can include gardening, craft, woodwork, water and energy saving activities, as well as kids activities.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I rang Lyall Bay Bunnings today twice. The first time I was palmed off to an area of the store who didn’t answer. The second time when I re rang back, I got the original person whose voice sounded very uninterested in doing anything when I asked about a product, telling me that she didn’t think it was in stock! I had yet to tell her the IN number and what kind of answer is that anyway “I don’t think” I was pretty disappointed ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One stop shop for all your hardware needs. Competent and knowledgeable staff. Large parking area with more than enough free spots (usually). Would've given five stars if it weren't for the broken speakers outside that produce an incessant ear-splitting high-pitched sound.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They have a good range of products in the Lyall Bay store, and you can usually find what you want. I’d say half of their stuff is pretty bad quality though so chose wisely, especially in tools.
Staff generally know where things are but that’s about it. The customer service in the tools section has been pretty bad over the years. They tend to hang out in the till instead of helping, and upon request for information seem annoyed you asked a question, and know very little about the products.
It’s OK, but I’d go to Mitre10 if it’s customer service you’re after.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bunnings has lots of useful things to use for building. They have timber, metal, steel, and tones of tools for building. If you’re looking to build a fence, garden because they have a garden area for people into gardens, shed or literally anything come to Bunnings. They also have a playground for children while the adults are shopping and a cáfe for people looking to get a nice coffee.
And in that I would always recommend coming to Bunnings.
