The Early Days with Helen Guthrie
Helen truly is a people person, with all their uniqueness. Helen has always had a great way of understanding who her clients really are, and crafting them a family treasure.
Helen built lifelong relationships with her clients and had a genuine interest as to who her clients are as people, which made the unique commissions a seamless process.
The result was many incredible pieces, each telling their own unique and wonderful story, a foundation of which we carry on today.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made to feel very unwelcome. I had a "Pretty Woman" moment. My fiancé and I went there to talk about an engagement ring. I'm a professional person and my fiancé and I are "mature " i. e. Older and able to afford a decent ring. We got looked at like we were trash off the street and not the sort of customer they wanted. Took my custom elsewhere!!!

Even the little details were not missed. During the journey they gave us sound advice, which was great as the multitude of options can be quite daunting. Dianne and James have a very caring nature and always encouraged us to take our time – the opposite of pushy! We ended up with a ring which is practical, timeless, and has a unique touch. I would highly recommend Guthrie Jewellers over the main street stores – better value for money, top quality materials, and peace of mind at every stage of the process.
