★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a 40 minute wait for my meal, which is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. The kumara fries and aioli are the best ever. I had the thunderbird chicken burger for the first time. It will not be the last. The chicken was crispy, crunchy and delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately very poor tonight. Service very slow and its the first we have dined in and had to go up and get our food. Also the first time the burgers didn’t come in a box and doofers supplied or available. Incredibly messy to eat. Perhaps new staff??? Either way, not their normal high standard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ BurgerFuel always delivers in good food and service. Been to the Takanini branch a few times eating in or take away. Very friendly staff. Take special attention for serving the burgers etc nicely on the platter making look appetizing and special, and not just like a regular fastfood. The burgers we had looked like the pictures on the menu?.Very clean area. Thank you BurgerFuel Takanini.

Just disappointed in the lack of organisation.
The guy took our fries in our order and gave them to an in house order then proceeded to tell me to wait another 5 minutes after waiting an hour already.

Something in the execution is just not right here… the main thing is the beef tastes as if the grill is not hot enough to cook, tastes stewed and not grilled - gives the beef a weird taste, egg also over cooked - too much lettuce.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good tasting burgers honestly. Service was fast and place is well kept. When I first came here, the chicken in the burger tasted pretty burnt (not a good bbq taste) but decided to give another go. This time I ordered the burgers at the counter and was asked if I'd like cheese with them.. I said yes. Turns out they charge $2.5 for an extra slice of cheese. Menu only indicates additions from $1 but has a long list. Kumara fries tasted good too, just had a little bit too much small pieces that were burnt.
