★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were arriving quite late in Taupo and just ended up coming here to pick up some burgers for dinner. We ordered in store and then headed out to Pac and Save to grab a few items. The food was ready when we arrived. I had the new Ribiron burger meal and that was quite nice. Service was friendly and the food here was also nice. The biggest issue was the parking though, we were lucky we were just picking up otherwise that would have been a bit more problematic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered online, with contactless, Placed online at 5.30 for 6.30 pickup. As I got there about 10 minutes early, my order came out just after 6.30. Seeing all the people waiting, I would of expected my meal to be hot. My fries were limp, luke warm. Burger was nice, but could of been hotter.

I think the burgers in this place is one of the best in town, not pricy, great taste and really nice view from the table! I tried the beef, chicken, and fish burger. I highly recommend the beef and fish, they are very tasty and juice! It’s also very under budget, comparing to all restaurants next doors with lake view, four burger (one combo) for just NZ$60)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not happy, ordered a Buffalo Buick burger that states has fresh hand cut salad obviously that just means a piece of lettuce. Paid decent money for the burger so should of come with what it stated ? service was also extremly average waited for a while to even get noticed as staff too busy talking, im guessing the manager must not of been around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The burgers at burgerfuel are always top tier and Taupo is no exception. However it's the view on the second floor looking out into the scenic lake that will make you pop down and get a shake for a couple more minutes of the view.
Moderately expensive and the staff were completely knowledgeable about all the ingredients and substitutions available and extremely attentive.
Noticing I was the only one in my party not partaking in the shakes they informed me that they are able to make them completely dairy free! A joy to my ears and a hit to my wallet I had the most amazing chocolate thick shake, must try it.
