★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good quality coffee but not the happiest of staff behind the counter. The middle aged man serving me looked like he would have preferred to be elsewhere. Great location and food looked good but I was not eating this visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If there was a lower star than 1 that’s what I would review it as. Disgusting, cold, soggy and burnt big breakfast mushrooms tasted like rubber. My dog didn’t even eat it when I put it in his bowl. Considering I spent 55 dollars on this revolting food I will never be buying from this place again. Was my first time using Uber eats and I’m totally disappointed. If I could upload pictures of this food I would. Nobody should eat here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fine for a quick bite. Mid-range cafe prices. Family friendly and quick service, but small things spoil the overall rating: toilet available but a bit on the shabby side, and lipstick smear left on the tea cups we were served.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited here because we were hungry and this was one of two choices, the other of which had higher star reviews, but looked dingey and old fashioned, whereas this place looked more modern. The atmosphere was good and the food was reasonably good also. Nothing fancy or outstanding, but we got what was on the menu. My scrambled eggs on sourdough toast were very good - a little runny, but hot and tasted great. The coffee was the usual excellent standard I've come to expect pretty much everywhere in New Zealand these days.

Spacious cafe with air conditioning and good lighting.
Recommended if you're visiting Karori and want coffee, lunch and a chill moment.
Thanks to the woman who made my iced coffee, you get 5 stars for being the best :)
