Big shout out to the Managers Babal and Armarn, wow the place is looking great, the Gardens have had a huge makeover, great play area for the kids and a BBQ area, the rooms are looking amazing, fresh carpet, new nets and drapes, the upgraded facilities and the gazebo area by the kitchen is a great new addition especially with summer almost here, you are definitely making a difference, friendly welcoming service, they make you feel like part of their family, highly recommend, great prices as well, can't wait to see what's next.

It was okay, price was reasonable, very small cabin room with just a bed. The curtains and netting looked like it weren't washed for at least 5 years or probably longer very dirty and dusty, felt like we were in a prison room but I guess you pay for what you get. The ladies bathrooms were clean. The first night my husband said the men's bathroom was dirty was it was cleaned for the morning . If you just need a place to sleep then I guess it's okay

Good people running this, was booked for 4 bunk bed room. Moved me to a more private room with shower , toilet, and kitchen. Thank you, cheers!

Was good until I saw a mouse on the last night. The toilets and showers are good. The room needs dire updating like new vinyl., new carpet, the kitchenette needs replacing and cutlery included. New paint and drapes. Need safer window latches. Good cleaners and service but that's it. Need to clean and update playground. Good for an overnight- not long stay.

Great value, dog friendly, and very convenient to all of Taupo, just off Spa Rd near lake.

Very disappointed on this stay. We have been here previously and enjoyed our stay, but not on this occasion. Our shower ran more on cold than warm for an instantaneous system it was not good. There was no hot water to the hand basin, instantaneous HW system faulty and the cooking facility was severely lacking utensils. Very unlikely to return.

Firstly the receptionist was distinctly arrogant, we were shown the rooms and it was absolutely atrocious. The receptionist guaranteed us that the cleaners had made a thorough clean, but the first room we had visited was disgusting. It looked like 5 consecutive visitors used it and not a single cleaner attempted to clean this room. We explained our situation on the room, she still held her claim that it was thoroughly cleaned. Thankfully our receptionist had the decency to show as another room. The new room was not bad, definitely not good but not bad. Everything was bearable until we saw the plates cups and cutlery. They were filthy, I can’t imagine anyone using these. They were so disgusting we had to buy our own cups, plates and cutlery. Unfortunately thats not it. The foundation of our room was outdated, cracks on the walls, ants coming out from every crevasse and broken sockets. The shower was worst of all, a green substance was clinging on the sides of the shower, The water temperature was extremely difficult to control and the hot water depletes in just a few minutes. We couldn’t stay in the shower for more than 2 minutes due to shower quality and water quality thus making a faulty experience in the shower. Not only was the shower poor but the beds were extremely uncomfortable. The mattress felt more like springs pressing against us then a soft feeling, if you make the slightest movement everyone in the room will hear it, and the beds left us with terrible body pain. This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had and I will never recommend it to any poor soul looking for a motel. Our children couldn’t play on the play ground because there was 0 to no effort put into it everything was either dirty broken or infested with bugs. I feel ever so sorry for anyone that lives there permanently.

You get what you pay for and I think it was OK value. I think our room could do with an update and a very good clean. There was only one cup amongst 5 of us. Too many rules on the walls. I went into the kitchen to retrieve a cup and the shelf nearly came away from the wall. The numbering on the units needs to be bigger and brighter so you can see in the dark. We found it hard to locate and had to ask reception. The staff were pleasant and friendly but please update, clean and replace the dead plants outside the units and maybe install heat pumps to get rid of condensation. I have not come across a heater on a timer. In conclusion we slept well and it was near the ac baths.
