She has never been a fan of heights but Russ, Wayne and Bree were so good at what they do and so professional, she said she was never scared. It was an epic day with absolutely stunning scenery. Going down those waterfalls inside that canyon is something that most people will never see. Even if you're nervous about doing this, I would highly recommend it. It's a trip you'll never forget!

The guys from Canyonz (Wayne & Alex in our case) are experienced, make sure you are safe and that you have one of the best days of your life! I definitely recommend the full day trip as it brings the best mix of abseiling, jumps, a zipline and a slide. Free photos plus food make the price worth it. Thanks a lot guys!

The scenery is beautiful and the canyoning itself is heaps of fun and gets the adrenaline pumping. Russ is very safety conscious and I felt very safe the entire time. If you've never done it before, you need to call Canyonz right now!!!!! I will be doing it again but will take my teenage daughters next time.

This was our first Canyoning and I can tell you guys that it was the most amazing thing one can experience in the magical place that is New Zealand. The connection with nature, the adrenaline and the overwhelming location makes you forget the mundane world and just enjoy being alive. We were lucky to have Bree and Kayla joining Wayne and Anna as our guides and making sure we were crazy but ALWAYS safe! It was the most amazing experience we had in our 3 weeks vacation. After a heap of research The Sleeping God Canyon trip with Canyonz was the experience we chose - and far out did it deliver! Every step of the experience far and away exceeded our expectations. The guides were awesome...incredibly skilled and professional, a deep love of the area that really brought the valley and its history to life for us, and great company as we made our way down the valley under their guidance. We were all challenged by the experience, but to exactly the right extent - exciting, exhilarating, but always safe and feeling like were were in great hands. What an incredible part of Aotearoa. The natural beauty of the landscape is just stunning...unspoiled, wild and awesome in the true sense of the word. From the moment we suited up and stepped into the canyon we felt a deep connection with the environment, and a deep sense of perspective. The Canyonz team have crafted a brilliant experience, from meeting in the morning right through to driving away at day's end. A great adventure with genuine, heartfelt hospitality along the way. It's the unexpected 'wow!' moments that really make it...I won't spoil those by writing about them here - do yourself a favour and experience them for yourself...head out with the team, I can't recommend it enough! We left with awesome memories of a shared adventure, and will for sure be taking other groups - friends, staff etc - down in the future. Thanks for an unforgettable day team, loved it!
